Hua Cheng is from a Chinese novel that I love. if you google him, he’s very handsome ☺️ Love undertaker but I’ve got beef with him currently in the manga. no literally,, i feel like a lot of ppl in the fandom overlook his trauma. it’s not js resentment for having to be beneath kalim his whole life. it’s quite literally generational slavery - jamil is a servant before a person to the asim family (maybe not to kalim, but his obliviousness doesn’t help). not to mention should jamil fail at his role as servant, his family is put in danger. i REALLY don’t like how the eng translation changed sm of the dialogue in the game. it changed a lot of relationship dynamics, personalities, etc. n unfortunately jamil’s backstory fell victim to poor translations.

@@jinxezzthere’s prob a touch of care but i honestly think his “servant tendencies” have js been drilled into him sm to the point it bleeds into his other relationships. and yea,, their story is really tragic 😭 had the circumstances been diff, their relationship would’ve been sm healthier

@@c-estellix my brother doesn’t know anything about twst but I alway tell him that book 4 is amazing and that you could literally write a college level essay about kalim and Jamil’s relationship because it’s so complicated and their characters are so intertwined with one another

I’m so happy the this book is giving up more character development for not only pomefiore but all the boys. Especially Jamil since book 4 has left such an impression on me
